The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut
The rising star boasts considerable social media presence
The young golfer will have multiple high-profile cheerleaders when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she stated.
Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa practically advised me to compete and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.
"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"And he's a more impressive person. He told me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, featuring world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence brings golf to new audiences, particularly reaching the next generation.
Kai maintains a massive following and has started an exclusive fashion and living label.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
