The Chelsea star emulated his sibling Nathaniel in representing England, becoming the twenty-first duo of brothers to be selected for the England side.
The Chelsea defender is expected to be added to the Three Lions selection to replace injured Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The 26-year-old footballer is scheduled to join the national side for England's final World Cup qualifying matches against Serbia and Albania, but it has still not been confirmed.
The national side have already booked their place for the upcoming competition.
Chalobah received his first selection under England manager Thomas Tuchel in the month of May and then earned his first cap against the Senegalese team.
In September, Tuchel remarked Chalobah was unlucky to be omitted from the selection for qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, and also omitted him for the next October fixtures.
Tuchel has been an important figure in Chalobah's career, having awarded him his Chelsea first appearance in 2021.
Chalobah has featured in all but four games for Chelsea in the current campaign, with the club occupying third spot in the Premier League, in the EFL Cup last eight and in the league phase of the Champions League.
Guehi suffered a foot injury in Crystal Palace's Europa Conference League win over AZ Alkmaar last week.
There are set to be additional inclusions to the team. Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has announced that both winger Anthony Gordon (hip injury) and shot-stopper Nick Pope (a concussion) will be unavailable from the England setup.
